1、 Product Overview:
The OW-LDE series intelligent tap water flow meter is a flow meter developed and researched using the latest technology for water supply measurement. Compared with traditional analog flow meters, it has outstanding advantages such as high measurement accuracy, long service life, easy installation, and simple operation.
The tap water flowmeter is particularly suitable for installation on pipelines to measure the volumetric flow rate of conductive liquids in the pipeline. Widely used in urban water supply, industrial water supply, sewage discharge, papermaking, food, chemical and other industries, it can accurately measure the volume flow rate of various conductive fluids and solid-liquid two-phase bodies such as acids, alkalis, salt solutions, sewage, pulp, cement slurry and various beverages.
The tap water flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which generates an induced potential in the conductor when a conductive liquid cuts magnetic field lines in a magnetic field.
The induced potential E is: E=KBVD
In the formula: K - instrument constant, B - magnetic induction intensity, V - average flow velocity within the measured pipeline section, D - inner diameter of the measured pipeline section

The flow of conductive liquid through a magnetic field perpendicular to the flow direction induces a voltage proportional to the average flow velocity. The induced voltage signal is detected by two or more electrodes in direct contact with the liquid and sent to a converter through a cable for intelligent processing. Then, it is displayed on an LCD or converted into standard signals of 4-20mA and 0-1kHz for output.
